DayTox Vegan Skincare

I do like to detox every now and then, usually I’ll go on a juicing diet whenever I feel a bug sluggish and it works wonders for giving me an energy boost. As You know I’ve even completed a 28 day juice fast and let me tell you, it was really hard. So I’m not new to a detox, However I never detoxify my skin; it is just something I don’t bother doing, but I do notice that this time of year my skin looks dull and flaky. The winter months are harsh on my skin so I thought I!d give DayTox vegan face masks a try to see if I can liven my skin up a bit.

DayTox gradually helps you to detox your skin, restoring a youthful glow; something I desperately need as I’m creeping (very slowly) up towards fifty. A combination of active detoxifying ingredients, medicinal plants and oils will help stimulate and support cell renewal. The people at DayTox have created their very own formula called BioDtox using a blend of aloe Vera, broccoli and citrus and they have discovered that when you blend these three ingredients together they work beautifully at boosting the body’s defences and stimulate detoxification of the skin.

I like the sound of that so so let’s give it a go. I tried the clay mask and the hydrating glow mask; both lovely to apply. The first thing I noticed is that they smell really pleasant, unlike some clay masks I’ve tried before. I like the texture; not sticky or heavy and it really did leave my face feeling refreshed. Obviously for best results it is a treatment you have to apply regularly. All in all a good product and something I will definitely use again. Available from Waitrose, priced between £10 - £29.
