Moon Sand Snack Shop Review

We were sent a Spin Master Moon Dough Snack Shop to review from Blog-Match and we really liked it.

Spin Master claim that 'Moon Dough is the magical moulding dough that never dries out' and I must admit I was a little sceptical at first, however we have had the moon dough sat out on my Daughters bedroom window sill for the past couple of weeks now and it still feels moist and mouldable.

The shop features popcorn that really pops in a special popcorn machine, you can also create your own soft-scoop ice cream cones with the ice cream machine and pretzel treats with the easy to use twisty mould.

The best way to describe the dough is that it looks like butter but feels like candy floss, in fact I loved the feel of it so much that I couldn't stop picking bits up and playing with it.

Bottom line - did we like it?
It isn't quite as messy as moon sand and doesn't stick to the carpet when it falls on the floor which is a plus point. The kids sat and played with this kit for quite a while and tell me that they really liked it. The only downside was that they found the popcorn maker a bit difficult to use at first but it didn't spoil their enjoyment of the kit. Overall the Moon Sand Snack Shop gets a thumbs up from The Syders and we would buy it for a birthday or Christmas gift.

The play set includes: 1 magic moulding Snack Shop, 2 popcorn boxes, 2 ice cream cones, 1 ice cream scoop and 3 colours of Moon Dough.
For ages 3 years and over and available from Argos, Boots, ELC, Toys R Us, Tesco and The Entertainer priced at around £19.99.
