The Gallery - One Word

Over at Sticky Fingers Gallery today the theme is 'One Word'. It can be any word at all...absolutely any word and find a photo to represent that word. Well as I was over the lottie yesterday it was covered in ladybirds. They were everywhere. Snuggled up together in the warm spring sun or wandering about looikng for somewhere comfy to park their bums. So My 'One Word' is Ladybird...

  1. I think the ladybird is an underrated insect. I love to see them and try to hold one. Your photos are really good, the tree it is sat on is very unusual

  2. Thanks Mummy Mishaps...I love ladybirds...they are such pretty little things. The tree is actually old dead runner beans from last year...should have pulled them up months ago, glad I didn't though as the ladybirds love them so much, lol x

  4. Ah, lovely ladybirds. And I love your borlotti beans too (if that's what they are), they're such a beautiful vegetable. Seems a shame to cook them!

  11. That is lovely, and it's a proper 6 spot first sign of spring ladybird not one of those invading harlequins so it is PERFECT!

  16. I love that top pic especially - the light on it is superb. Ladybirds are lovely although I don't like them when they fly too much ;) x
