Blackberry Heaven

So it's that time of year in the UK when wild Blackberries are in abundance.
Miss C & I gave Auntie Jill a visit and we all went on a Blackberry picking expedition.

We came across a gorgeous Pear Tree, full of fruit not quite ready.

It was a warm, muggy day so the quick shower of rain was rather refreshing.

The Sunshine was back and we came across open hay fields.
Me & Auntie Jill said we wished we had brought our fold up chairs and flask of tea.

Miss C dashed in and picked some hay to feed the donkeys that we were about to visit.

She got a nice big bundle.
(I hope the farmer doesn't mind)

The donkeys were very very pleased to see us.

We gave them lots of attention.

And fed them the Hay.

YUM!

Time to head home.

Bye Bye Donkeys.

We continued on our way.

And came across a beautiful horse.
As we know Miss C is horsey mad!

We couldnt resist dipping into our box of yummy blackberries.

And it was lovely spending some time with Auntie Jill

It was a fab walk.

And we must do it again sometime.
