Appledore Art Festival - Day One

The Appledore Arts festival in North Devon is a four day event in the village.
It is an annual event that has been running since 1997 and it is a meeting place for a period of four days at the end of May for some of the West Countries finest artists and craftsters.

People visit from all over the country and even other parts of the world to take part in the festival. As we are living here we are lucky enough to spend every day visiting the stalls and exhibitions.

There was so much to see and do. Loads of free activities for the whole family to take part in and various arts & crafts to try.

Miss C got the chance to have a go at some encaustic art that I quite fancy doing myself.

Master N some lino art that looked equally as satisfying.

Inside one of the many Yurts the kids (and adults) could be creative and make some dragons.

Miss C's creation was fabulous!

Day one of the festival was very enjoyable and we are looking forward to the remaining three days events.
