Appledore Art Fest - Day Three


Day Three of the Appledore Arts Festival and we are off to the evening fire & Fury extravaganza.
For the past few days artist & sculpture Ben Piper has been creating these wonderful giant lanterns.



Ben is an expert in creating fantastic fire sculptures.


 
He has worked with some of the leading celebratory arts companies such as
welfare state international, walk the plank and Emergency exit arts.


 

The lighting of the Globe while we were waiting for Bens show to begin.



Sebastian Blackie is one of the Countrys leading ceramic artists,
He is well known for his beautiful paper kilns.

Inside were various handmade clay tiles made by visitors to the festival.


 
It was a fantastic night and we all really enjoyed it.

  2. Wow indeed! That looks great. Reminds me a bit of the Burning of the Clocks in Brighton. Great pics :)
